  5. As I said, some were even clean installs, with no previous drivers loaded (OS discs I had never used but kept for testing).
  6. i'd bet i'd get the tab if installed, but i'm not going to, since i have no use for the touchpad.
  7. I found that the model numbers have changed, and Lenovo has quit making them, but I found them on eBay and Amazon.

Currently the choice is to configure TrackPoint to scroll properly with middle button pressed using generic "mouse" driver in X.Org OR apply tiny patch posted to bugzilla and configure TouchPad as If I removed the new keyboard and connected or reconnected the old one, the drivers showed up. so...

If you move the mouse directly over this pixel, a little icon appears like if the middle trackpoint button is used to scroll. This is ridiculous.
